Excellent pump
This pump is the same model that was installed 25 years ago in my septic tank. Glad the model is still available! Hope it lasts as long as the first pump.

Quality that lasts.
I had a Liberty pump that lasted about 15 years. I replaced it with a Dunlap pump from Harbor Freight. That lasted less than two years. Liberty pumps just work and they are worth the money even if they aren't cheap. They'll pay for themselves over the long run.

Okay, but lower head height than the model it replaced
The older model of this Liberty pump had a 35' max head height - this "newer replacement" model only has a max head height of 25'. The older Liberty pump I had lasted about 8 years when used as a septic lift; hopefully, this one will last at least that long. The GOOD news is that this pump is cheap on Amazon. Even though I needed a pump without a float switch, buying this one and removing the float was cheaper than buying the same model WITHOUT the float from other sources.

Great Pump
Purchased and installed in January 2014 for a sewage basin that has a basement small kitchen with dishwasher and full bath discharging into the pit. Install was straightforward replaced a little giant pump that failed after someone began flushing Clorox wipes down the toilet.6 year update. This pump continues to operate with no issues.

Quality Pump
Very strong and somewhat stout (as in weight) pump. This was an exact match for the one that failed and install was a pretty crap free. This was ready to go out of the box. I only used some zip ties for a cable i installed on the handle for easier removal should it go out in the future. Last one lasted 12 years so we should be good for a while. This is a great reasonably priced pump for what it is designed to do. Very much better than paying some of the other prices I've seen and save me over a grand since I did it myself.

Pumps the Crap Just Fine
Had to replace a pump that got burnt out because of a poor situational installation. A couple of chain plumbers wanted $700-$900 for the pump alone. A local (non-franchise) plumber recommended Liberty and this one fit the job specs. Wish I could review the plumber here, as I can't sing his praises highly enough. Anyway, the pump has performed flawlessly for 4+ months (I already can't remember exactly when I had it installed, sorry). It's quiet and apparently plenty powerful to chop/lift the sewage from my (deep) basement pit and send it on its disgusting way to the local treatment plant.

Total junk. Seller only warrants them 30 days!
It seemed like a great pump when I installed it 4 months ago. Yesterday I found my septic tanks lift basin full and the pump no longer running. I removed the housing where the wiring goes into the top and the wiring cavity was full of water, so it obviously shorted out the pump. The Amazon 30 day return period was already over so I contacted the seller (Buildcom) . They also said the return period is only 30 days. Now I'm out $360 and have to buy another pump. Apparently the seller recognizes that these pumps are junk or they would have offered me a return.
