Accuracy and Durability
This product is great for a beginner learning how to stitch, or even someone practicing a given skill set. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone interested in learning how to stitch.

Can be Modified
What I like: It's a kit: The vippered case is the right size and sturdy enough. The 1x2 toothed Adson is also pretty nice. The silicone layers can be separated with your fingers if you do it carefully. Cut down into the darker pink layer; separate the yellow from the dark pink; then the pale pink from the yellow. Or start separating with a scalpel VERY CAREFULLY. This seems helpful when trying to suture layers separately. (i.e. Buried Knots in the subQ). Maybe leave the layers together for subcuticular/Reticular suturing (there's no mesh reinforcement layer, but it still holds fairly well)What I don't like: The other instruments are tiny and of questionable quality even for practice instruments. The knife handle BARELY holds a blade (2 star). If you're not careful when you close the needle holder, as the ratchets try to pass each other on the wrong side and match up back to back. Totally miss. Once you figure out how to manipulate it, the jaws of the needle driver are adequate (3 star). I would give the mosquito and scissors a 4 star, but they are SO TINY. It fits fine on the tip of your ring finger, but my thumb sticks with only the bare tip in the instrument rings. So: Yes. Buy it. REPLACE THE KNIFE HANDLE or use a safety scalpel. Think about getting a better needle holder and possibly bigger instruments in general. But it's a nice STARTER kit overall and great for buried knots!!

Meh
It's an ok product to get familiar with suturing. Definitely not something you would want to practice before a test. The needle holder does not close all the way, the skin has a very tacky feel and rips easily when you pull the thread to pull the skin together. And the needle/thread that is pictured and advertised is NOT what you get. Instead it is in plastic bags they claim to be sterile and you thread it yourself like you would for normal sewing. This causes issues when you try to pull the line through the skin.Going to return as it's not worth the $ and frustrations.

Simple dollar tree quality
Very simple, not much better than sewing needles and strong thread. Will not purchase again, not recommended. A learning toy not a tool.

Terrific kit
Amazing kit, comparable kits would cost much more for this quality.

Try something else
It depicts sutures as if they are in packs. They are free needles that are paired with very poor string. They are not nylon, or mimicry or real suture. Literally string. The instruments are fine for cheap metal ones. The suture pad is a gelatin material. Probably one of the poorer practice items I’ve tried. It makesMe wonder if others in these reviews received the same product that I did
